The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy in collaboration with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) conducted the first 01-day training on “Maintenance of Record” today on 15th November 2021, and has scheduled a series of such training programs to be held on 17th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 27th, and 30th November 2021, respectively.
The Course Participants were the nominees of District & Sessions Judges, Senior Civil Judges (Judicial), Muharrar, Record Keeper, and In-charge Copying Agency from the Districts Khyber,Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan, and Swabi.
Principal Staff Officer of the Peshawar High Court, Peshawar, and Senior District & Sessions Judges delivered lectures on relevant topics and involved participants in interactive sessions.
The course was one-day activity. The course objectives were to sensitize the participants about the Preparation and Maintenance of Judicial Records, Custody and Transmission of Judicial Records, and Preservation of essential and weeding out unnecessary Records.
The training commenced with an inaugural ceremony chaired by Mr. Zia-ud-Din Khattak, Director General, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy. In his address, the Director-General extended a welcome to the participants. He congratulated them upon their selection for this course. He also offered special thanks to the resource persons for sparing time out of their busy schedules and coming to the Academy for discourse. He gave a concise introduction of Maintenance of Judicial Record. He advised the participants to make every effort so that they should have a gainful utilization of this training time and go well equipped with adequate knowledge, information, and tools for the performance of their duties.
The training concluded with a concluding ceremony presided over by the Director General; the class representative shared his views and appreciated the efforts made by the Academy. Ms. Farah Jamshed, Dean Faculty, Mr. Ihsanullah Khan Mashud, Senior Director Administration, Mr. Azhar Ali, Senior Director Research & Publication, and Faculty Members were also present. In the end, the Director General awarded certificates to the participants.
