A transformative three-day training on "Conduct, Attitude, Behavior, Managing Stress, Maintaining Health & Well-Being for Judges", commenced in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy on November 14, 2023. Twenty-four Senior Civil Judges and Civil Judges cum Judicial Magistrates participated.
During his address, Mr. Muhammad Shoaib, the Acting Director General extended a warm welcome to the participants during inaugural ceremony. He elucidated the overarching aims, objectives, and anticipated outcomes of training. Emphasizing the significance of the training modules, he underscored their substantial focus on invigorating physical activity sessions, aiming to recalibrate, refocus, and rejuvenate life's journey through self-discipline and mindfulness. All directors marked the ceremony with their presence. He acknowledged the Peshawar High Court for nomination of participants and UNDP for logistic support.
The Training focused on discourses on "Maintaining Health & Physical Wellbeing", "Professional Attitude, Conduct, and Behavior", "Effective Communication: Channelizing Perception & Behavior", “ Managing Stress, Anger and Conflict at Workplace”, “ Valuing time and Energy”, “ Mindfulness” and “ Spiritual Wellbeing”.
Before formal conclusion of the training on November 16, 2023, the participants planted “Panda Ficus Plant” on premises of the Academy. The concluding ceremony was presided over by the Director General and attended by all the Directors and Representative of UNDP.
In her remarks as Class Representative Ms. Alia, Senior Civil Judge, praised the Academy’s efforts in addressing essential areas for judicial officers, helping them navigate daily challenges while emphasizing personal well-being. She urged for holding such sessions in future on frequent basis. Later, participation certificates were distributed by the Director General of KPJA, amongst the participants.
This innovative training not only serves as a platform for intellectual enrichment but also foster a holistic approach to the well-being of the judges, transcending the conventional boundaries of judicial education.
