Radio Meezan broadcasted special programmes for Pakistan Day to highlight the significance of Lahore Resolution, which paved the way for creation of a separate homeland for Muslims in the Sub-Continent. The Lahore Resolution proved a successful culmination of the long struggle made by the Muslims of South Asia. This struggle took seven years to be realized for a new emerging Muslim State on the world map-Pakistan. The marathon transmission also included discussion on Objective Resolution. The participants of the programmes included eminent educationist like Dr. Fakhar ul Islam, Director, Pakistan Studies Centre, Dr. Hussain Suhrawardy, Associate Professor of IR Department University of Peshawar and Mr. Atif Nazeer, Advocate.
