The Academy organized three training courses and one seminar in this week (28 Oct.--02 Nov. 2013). Two training courses, each of 05 days, were organized for 30 Judicial Officers and 50 Court Staff, respectively. They were mainly selected from Malakand division. The third one was organized by Itibaar, an Islamabad-based NGO, for Radio Journalists. 20 staff members from Radio Meezan FM 96.6, Pakhtunkhwa Radio FM 92.2 and Radio Pakistan FM 101.5 participated in the training. The training of Judicial Officers and court staff was on Case & Court Management, which were supported by the UNDP. Both these training were rolled out in light of a training needs assessment and training manuals prepared recently. Two more such courses for Judicial Officers and one for court staff will be organized in the third week of November. Earlier, on Monday, a one-day seminar on sentencing jurisprudence was also conducted for Judicial Officers.
