The first ever pre-service/probationers extensive four weeks training programme for Additional District & Sessions Judges/ Izafi Zilla Qazis has commenced from 07th March 2016. Twenty five newly inducted Additional District & Sessions Judges from across the province are participating in the training. This training is compulsory for probationers. In the inaugural session of the training programme, the worthy Director General Mr. Zia ud Din Khattak formally welcomed the participants. In his introductory remarks, he gave brief explanation of objectives and purposes of the training. He remarked that the Academy, right from its inception, had been its best to impart quality training to all the stakeholders of the justice sector, particularly the judges. Topics of the training include: Judicial Ethics and Code of Conduct, Language Skills, Judgment Writing (Theory & Practical), Interlocutory Orders, Justice of Peace, Office Management, Civil Jurisdiction, Inheritance, Medical Jurisprudence and Forensics, Qanun-e-Shahadat Order, 1984 and Islamic Law of Evidence, Sessions Trial, Civil Appeal, Criminal Jurisdiction… Substantive and Procedural law, Sessions Trial- Charge (Theory), Control of Narcotics Substance, Execution of Decrees and Orders, Juvenile Justice System Ordinance, Criminal Appeal (Concepts and Parameters), Evidence to substantiate a case (Civil), etc. The training is expected to conclude on 2nd April 2016.
