Two-day training of Special Court Judges on Anti-Rape Legal Framework concluded at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy. It was organized by the Asma Jehangir Legal Aid Cell (AGHS) in collaboration with the Academy.
The training including interactive discourses on the Anti- Rape (Investigation and Trial) Act, 2021 and rules made under the Law, Criminal Laws (Amendment) Act, 2021, and on managing vicarious trauma by judges dealing with sexual gender-based violence cases.
The concluding ceremony was chaired by Mr. Muhammad Shoaib, Director General (Acting). All directors of the Academy and team members of AGHS were present at the occasion. Dr. Qazi Attaullah, Additional District and Sessions Judge as Class Representative, lauded the activity as highly beneficial.
Director General of the Academy appreciated participation of the trainees and entire team of AGHS in making the training a success. Concluding session was followed by distribution of certificates among the participants.
