Dr. Sabeen Hayat

It is my pleasure to introduce today's distinguished resource person, Dr. Sabeen Hayat, currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Program Director for BS English at the Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar.

Dr. Sabeen holds an MPhil in English and has completed her PhD coursework in Linguistics from the National University of Modern Languages, with her research work carried out at the University of Chicago, USA. She brings with her over 15 years of rich academic, research, and training experience from esteemed institutions including GIK Institute, NUML, and Oxford University Press.

Her areas of specialization include environmental linguistics, English language pedagogy, IELTS training, and teacher development. She has trained educators across Pakistan under programs supported by the US Embassy, British Council, and Higher Education Commission.

Dr. Sabeen is also a prolific researcher. Her work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals, with over a dozen academic publications to her credit on topics ranging from ecolinguistics to discourse analysis, and from stylistics to gender representation in media.

She has presented at numerous international conferences including in China, Nepal, the USA, and across Pakistan. Her commitment to academic excellence, combined with her engaging teaching style, makes her a sought-after speaker and trainer in both national and international circles.
