Syed Haziq Ali Shah
It is a privilege to introduce Syed Haziq Ali Shah, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, as a distinguished resource person.
With over 30 years of strategic legal experience, Mr. Shah is a seasoned practitioner in constitutional, corporate, commercial, labour, taxation, and construction (FIDIC) law. As an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, he has represented major banks, corporations, universities, regulatory bodies, and public institutions before Tribunals, High Courts, and the Supreme Court.
He holds a Certificate in Legislative Drafting for Social Change from the Boston University (ICLAD) and has contributed to legislative reforms, including amendments incorporated into the KP Local Government framework. His expertise spans corporate governance, board advisory, FIDIC-based infrastructure contracts, international arbitration, Islamic finance, and high-stakes commercial litigation.
Mr. Shah has served as Member, Board of Governors at Hayatabad Medical Complex and Northwest School of Medicine, and has also taught Commercial, Constitutional, and Land Laws at the University of Peshawar.
His reported cases include landmark judgments such as PLD 2020 SC 641 and several decisions reported in SCMR, CLD, and PLC, reflecting his significant contribution to Pakistani jurisprudence.
