Shahid Hussain

It is a pleasure to introduce our resource person, Mr. Shahid Hussain, a multi-disciplinary expert with over 20 years of professional experience currently serving as the Deputy Director (MIS) and Registrar of Appeals at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA). In his current role, he leads the IT section and acts as the provincial focal person for the implementation of EPADS, while also managing quasi-judicial proceedings and the coordination of procurement appeals. His career is marked by significant technical contributions, including the development of MIS and official web portals for the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and the Pakistan Forest Institute.Mr. Hussain possesses a diverse academic background, holding an MS in Computer Science specializing in Sensor Networks, a Master in Economics, and a Master in Information Technology (MIT). Beyond his degrees, he is a World Bank-certified procurement professional and has completed specialized training in MCSE and CCNA. A winner of the Inter-University Software Competition, he brings a unique combination of high-level programming skills in VB.Net, PHP, and SQL Server alongside a deep understanding of public sector governance and supply chain management.
