Mr. Shahzad Saleem, the Director General of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited the KP Judicial Academy (KPJA) today on March 25, 2015. The purpose of his visit was to explore avenues of mutual cooperation between the two institutions and to seek assistance of the Academy in the area of capacity building of NAB’s officials. The Director General, KPJA, Mr. Hayat Ali Shah and Dean Faculty Mr. Khurshid Iqbal apprised the guest about the various activities of the Academy. The DG NAB expressed his desire of training programme for NAB’s official especially the Investigation Officers (IOs). He also discussed various other ways and means of cooperation including conducting a Training Needs Assessment (TNA) for NAB personnel, preparation of a training manual, and doing a research study on the performance of the NAB. The DG Academy expressed willingness on behalf of the Academy to offer its services in the desired areas. The two DGs agreed to build on the proposals in the coming days after a formal written request by the NAB.
