Faculty gets New Dean

Khwaja Wajihudin, District & Sessions Judge, joined KP Judicial Academy as Dean Faculty w.e.f 1.12.2015. Khwaja Wajihudin is law graduate from University of Peshawar and have extensive experience of more than 27 years in judicial functioning.
During the course of his judicial career, he has remained as Civil Judge, Senior Civil Judge, Additional District & Sessions Judge and rose to District & Sessions Judge - the highest level of subordinate judiciary. He also served as Judge Anti-Terrorism Court, Additional Secretary (Opinion) Law Department, Deputy Secretary Assembly/ Deputy Solicitor, Section Officer (Opinion) Law Department, Assistant Draftsman, Law Department, Section Officer, establishment & Agriculture Department and practiced law as an Advocate of Districts courts and High Court.
He has extensive legal experience in the field of legal research, judicial work, drafting legal documents, judgments, and vetting of legal documents involving questions of law and facts.  has also authored and presented research paper on "Institution and Disposal by District Judiciary Peshawar" in Judicial Conference, Peshawar, 2008, Role of Judicial Officers in the new scenario in Judicial Conference, Peshawar, 2006, "Various Topics on Criminal Law" and presented in Judicial Conference, Peshawar 2006 and articles on social issues published in newspapers.
He has excellent drafting and communication skills and ensure team building and good relations between bench and bar. His focus has been to ensure due regard and protection of human rights, gender and child protection, effective coordination between judiciary, corrections, prosecution and police and provide needed guidance and mentoring to ensure that service delivery is ensured.
