In collaboration with DOST, a local NGO, the KP Judicial Academy organized a one-day seminar on juvenile justice and probation services. As many as 25 justice sector personnel participated in the seminar, including Judicial Officer, Probation Officers, Prison Officials and Prosecutors. Mr. Hayat Ali Shah, Director General of the Academy welcomed the participants. Dr Parveen Azam Khan, CEO DOST gave an overview of her organization and key thematic areas in which here organization works. Dr. Khan also expressed her thanks to the KP Judicial Academy for facilitating the event.
Director Research & Publications Barrister Dr. Adnan Khan delivered lecture on "Juvenile Justice Ordinance and related laws; Challenges and prospects" while Faculty Dean Dr. Khurshid on "Probation Laws: International obligations & Standards."
