Hon'ble Lahore High Court, Lahore and Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore reposed confidence in the Academy by sending their 8 AD&SJs for training.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy arranged this special training course on war footing basis. The topics chosen for interaction of resource persons with participants included: i) Stress & Time Management; ii) Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR); iii) Stare Decisis (Doctrine of precedents); iv) Case Management-Civil; v) Order-Sheet Writing-Civil; vi) Criminal Appeals, Revisions, Reference and concept of review; vii) Order-Sheet Writing-Criminal; viii) Judgment Writing-Criminal; ix) Judgment Writing-Civil; x) Judicial Conduct & Ethical Values; xi) Overview of Land Acquisition Act; xii) Rights of Child under the Constitution of Pakistan; xiii) Bonded Labour & Domestic Violence; and xiv) Hard Time in Courts.
Academy invited experts to share their expertise. knowledge and experience with the participants. The same included Mr. Abdullah, former CS; Mr. Riaz Ahmad, former CJ, FSC; Mr. Abdul Latif, former Judge High Court; Syed Yahya Zahid Gilani, Sessions Judge (Rtd); Mr. Abdul Matin Khan, Retired Sessions Judge; Barrister Faisal Khan; Barrister Ummar Zia-ud-Din; and Mr. Umer Gilani, Advocate. Mr. Muhammad Basir, D-G, JA; Mr. Muhammad Zeb (D&SJ), PSO to Hon'ble Chief Justice, PHC; Dr. Shakeel Azam, Dean Faculty, JA; and Mr. Ahmed Iftikhar, Director also interacted with participants on topics assigned to them.
The participants enjoyed their stay at Academy. It was a very good intellectual interaction with our young Judges from Punjab.

The Training Was Successfully Concluded in the afternoon of Saturday, the 30th March 2019. Academy distributed Certificates amongst the participants on successful completion of pre-Service Training Course.
