One-Week Training on Leadership & Management with Focus on Personal Wellbeing for District & Sessions Judges (October 27 to November 1, 2025) concluded

Peshawar, November 1, 2025:
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA) successfully concluded a One-Week Training on Leadership & Management with Focus on Personal Wellbeing for District & Sessions Judges, held from October 27 to November 1, 2025, at the Academy in Peshawar.

The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice S. M. Attique Shah, Chief Justice, Peshawar High Court and Chairman, Board of Governors KPJA, as Chief Guest. Ms. Hina Khan, Senior Director Research and Publications / Acting Director General KPJA, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the Academy’s continuing efforts to strengthen judicial leadership, management, and wellbeing. The event was attended by the Private Secretary to the Chief Justice, Dean Faculty, Senior Director Administration, Directors, and the participating judges.

Over the course of six days, the training featured interactive lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on leadership, human resource management, financial management, public procurement, case management, and digital transformation, alongside modules on stress management, mindfulness, and spiritual wellbeing.

Eminent resource persons, including Dr. Qazi Waheed uz Zaman, Dr. Sylvia Ali Khan, Dr. Zainab Bibi, Mr. Zia ur Rehman, Mr. Khalid Khan, Dr. Sajid Khan, Prof. Idrees Azad, and Mr. Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer, shared their knowledge and professional insights with the participants.

The Concluding Ceremony was chaired by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ijaz Anwar, Senior Puisne Judge, Peshawar High Court, as Chief Guest, while Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer, Aalim Judge, Federal Shariat Court, attended as Guest of Honour.

In her closing remarks, Ms. Hina Khan, Senior Director Research & Publications / Acting Director General KPJA, appreciated the active engagement of the participants and the valuable contributions of the resource persons. She reaffirmed KPJA’s commitment to advancing judicial excellence, ethical leadership, and the wellbeing of judicial officers.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participants and a group photograph, marking the successful completion of a week devoted to learning, reflection, and professional growth.
