One-week training for Newly Inducted Lawyers from across KP Province (22-26 October, 2018) concluded today at KP Judicial Academy, Peshawar. 28 young lawyers from 05 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abbotabad, Haripur, Battagram, Dir Upper, Shangla, Buner, Tank, LakkiMarwar & D.I. Khan started participated in the training.
The training was inaugurated by Mr. Fazal Subhan, DG KP Judicial Academy. The training course was tailored to the needs of young lawyers to perform efficiently.
The focus of the contents was on areas of Professional Ethics, Drafting Skills, Civil & Criminal Case Management, Framing of Charge, Law of Bail & Superdari, Skills for examination of witnesses, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Orientation to Revenue Record, Precedents, Bench Bar Relationship, Commission Proceedings and Framing of Issues. Experienced lawyers and judges were the resource persons for the training.
During the concluding ceremony, the class representative expressed his satisfaction regarding the effectiveness and usefulness of the training. He further added that the number, duration and frequency of such trainings may be enhanced. The participants also expressed their profound gratitude to the Peshawar High Court and the Academy for arranging the training.
Mr. Fazal Subhan, DG KPJA distributed certificates amongst the participants in a simple but elegant concluding ceremony. In his speech he highlighted the importance of training. In the future, the Academy will conduct more trainings of similar nature for young lawyers.
