The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy, in collaboration with Justice Sector Support Program, organized a daylong seminar on draft case management rule proposed in the Criminal Procedure Code, 1898. The participants from cross section of the criminal justice actors (judges of the District Judiciary, prosecutors, lawyers, police, prison, probation, criminal justice sector donors) participated in the seminar. Delegates from outside the KP included the Registrar of the Sind High Court, nominee of the Registrar of the Lahore High Court, Registrar, AJK High Court, and DG, Balochistan Judicial Academy. Peshawar High Court’s senior Puisne Judge, Mr. Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth, participated in first session and Mr. Justice Qalandar Ali Khan, participated in the afternoon session. Mr. Justice Yahya Afridi, Chief Justice Peshawar and Chairman of the KP Judicial Academy also graced the occasion and distributed certificates amongst the participants. Earlier, the DG, KP Judicial Academy welcomed the participants.
