From 13 th to 14th July 2016, the Academy conducted 02 day training on “Capacity Building”
for the staff of Consumer Courts from selected districts (Peshawar, D.I.Khan, Haripur, Swabi,
Nowshera & Charsadda) of the province. Roundabout 30 staff members participated. The
focus in the training course remained on “Ethics and Mannerism” and “Office Management”.
The learned resource persons appraised the trainees on the role of conduct and behavior of
the staff in building public confidence in courts. In this connection, various thematic areas
such as honesty, gently speaking, patience, tolerance, punctuality, and dedication to job were
specifically highlighted. The participants were also enlightened on proper maintenance of
court diary and other relevant registers. In order to get the trainees oriented with the basic
computer skills, special classes were arranged for their primary know-how about operating of
computer device, typing skills and the basics of MS Word and Excel programs.
