One-day Seminar on "The role of judiciary in upholding human rights"

One-day seminar on "" has been conducted on May 25, 2013. in this seminar district and session judges, additional district and session judges, senior civil judges and civil judges of different districts of KP participated. The objective of the seminar was to create awareness about the role of judiciary in upholding human rights and the latest changes in international human rights laws and challenges.
on the occasion the Director General KPJA, Hayat Ali Shah discussed different aspects of human rights, he said that district judiciary has huge responsibility protecting human rights.
Director Research KPJA Barrister Dr. Adnan Khan delivered thoughtful lecture on the topic "Domestic Implementation of International Human rights law".
Dean Faculty KPJA, Dr. Khurshid Iqbal delivered lecture on the topic "Conventions against torture"
At the conclusion of the seminar the participants were awarded certificates.
