01-Day Training of Trainer (TOT) on strengthening application of bail Provisions for Children in conflict with Law for judges (15-05-2017) with support of #UNICEF concluded

   In order to work out ways and means to strengthen the implementation of Juvenile Justice System in its letter and spirit, the KP Judicial Academy Peshawar in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) conducted a baseline study to assess the implementation of bail provisions under JJSO and Cr.P.C and identify the area to be improved in this regard.
A one Day Training of Trainers (TOT) on Strengthening Application of  Bail Provisions for Children in Conflict with law for Judicial officer at KP Judicial Academy held on 15th May 2017. More than thirty Judicial Officers across the Province were participated.  The objective of the Training curriculum was to import knowledge and skills and to support the implementation of a rights-based approach among the Judicial officers tasked to handle the case of juveniles in conflict with law.
The focus was on a practical, hand -on approach , rather than a mere theoretical in-depth training. It however, seeks to establish systematic guideline to assist the trainers to undertake the training in a skilled manner, through all its various stages.
The participants were awarded with certificates at the concluding ceremony by the Director General KP Judicial Academy, Muhammad Masood Khan and UNICEF Representative.
