A three-day training program for young lawyers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa started today August 15, 2018, at KP Judicial Academy. A total of 25 young lawyers from Tehsil Shabqadar of District Charsadda, Tehsil Takhtbhai and Katlang of District Mardan and Tehsil Lahore of District Swabi are participating in the training course. The training aims at capacity building of young lawyers in the areas of legal ethics, Bench Bar relationship, traits of a successful lawyer, drafting skill, cross-examination, case presentation skill and the role of a lawyer in ADR. Experienced lawyers and judges will be the resource persons for the training.
DrKhurshid Iqbal, DG KP Judicial Academy, welcomed the participants of the training course.
The Academy will conduct more trainings of similar nature in the near future in which young lawyers from Baluchistan will also participate.
