Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy Peshawar organized a week-long training program for lawyers from Malakand Division including Tehsil Kabal, Swat. The Training was attended by twenty-two (22) lawyers from the region.
The Inaugural session was held on January, 23rd 2023 at the Academy. the Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy, Ms. Farah Jamshed presided and attended by Faculty members of the Academy.
In her inaugural address the Director General highlighted the objectives of special training program towards capacity building of newly inducted lawyers. She expressed hope that the training program will not only increase knowledge of the participants but it will also improve their professional skills and attitude.
The main focus of the training was on professional conduct & skills for capacity building and enhancing knowledge of other areas like interpretation of statutes, legal & professional conduct, bail, criminal matters, Mock civil & criminal trials, enhancing professional skills, stress, conflict and anger management, ADR, evidence, role of lawyers in protecting the family unit in litigation and the visit to FSL Peshawar were also made part of the training modules. Besides, all the directors interacted with the participants.
The training formally concluded on 28th January, 2023. The session was attended by Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy, Dean Faculty and officers of the Academy.
Mr. Sohail Ahmed Advocate, class representative of training program, extended gratitude to the Academy for fulfilling its commitment towards professional excellence of the participants. He also lauded the logistics and ambience of the Academy.
The Director General congratulated the participants on successful completion of the training. Certificates were distributed to the participants on successful completion of the training towards the end of the concluding session.
